The Chatwal Hotel is located in the Theater District of Manhattan. The 1905 building was once home of The Lambs, a famous New York entertainers club. The façade was carefully restored but the rest was entirely rebuilt by legendary architect Thierry Despont «who has beautifully restored and modernized this iconic midtown Manhattan address ensuring no detail has been overlooked and no luxury spare» and the result is one of the most glamorous hotels in New York city!
They offer 83 guest rooms and suites with unique small touches like the Asprey Purple Water glycerin bar in the toiletries, door handles designed by Thierry Despont and chocolate in the mini bars come from the same Parisian chocolatier that purveyed Marie Antoinette herself … The curtains, temperature and lighting are all operated from a remote control pad pretending to be a telephone.
Other services include The Lambs Club restaurant offering an update on the classic bar and grill concept and a modern treatment on America classics under the commands of celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian, the Red Door Spa with signature treatments, salted water lap pool designed to simulate natural water currents and a fitness center among others.
